Spring Floral Nails

Guess I haven't updated in a while. Here are some classy vintage floral nails I did a couple months ago. Perfect for spring!

Didn't realize until later that most of the pictures I took came out blurry. Oops. Sorry, you get the idea. The blue I used for the base is called "Dianna" by Julep.

Happy painting!

Leopard Print Nails

A bit late, but here are the leopard print nails I did for Halloween to match my last minute costume. Excuse my cuticles please.

What I used:
China Glaze Strong Adhesion Base Coat
Sephora by OPI Neutral Beauty (tan base)
OPI My Favorite Ornament (white gold glitter)
Revlon Hot for Chocolate (dark chocolate)
Seche Vite top coat
dotting tool

So easy to do because you don't have to be perfect. Works for short nails and long nails. Try it with different color combos, too!

Happy painting!

Tribal Nails

Tribal print is back in season! Here is my take on tribal nails using Sharpie Metallic markers. The markers were so easy to use; it was pretty much like drawing on paper.

What I used:
China Glaze Strong Adhesion Base Coat
Zoya Raven (black)
Sharpie Silver Metallic marker
Sharpie Gold Metallic marker
Sharpie Bronze Metallic marker

Got the idea of using the metallic Sharpies to draw the designs from The Beauty Department. TBD said they had no problem putting on top coat without smudging, but when I tried putting on top coat on one nail (two hours after painting) it smeared SO badly :( so if you're going to try top coat, be careful and good luck. Don't say I didn't warn you! Unfortunately, without top coat, much of the Sharpie design came off by the time I woke up the next morning. But if you want sharp, clean designs on your nails for one night, I highly recommend these Sharpie Metallic markers.

Happy painting!
